This technology stabilizes the restoration of target plant communities by substituting the surface erosion prevention effects expected from early-growing plants in traditional vegetation engineering with soil erosion prevention mats, while introducing a high-quality substrate similar to forest soil. Due to the mulching effect, it is possible to protect plants from slope drying and frost heave by enhancing the water retention and insulation properties of the vegetation substrate.
